Why MTAG camp ?
Football isn’t just about X’s and O’s — it’s about building a community and family. It's MORE THAN A GAME! On a great team, players look out for each other, fight for one another, and grow together. That’s the same spirit we see in CASA’s mission: advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and ensuring they have someone in their corner when they need it most. I’ve observed in court and seen how tough it is for kids who get stuck in the battle of custody. CASA is there to look out for those children, fight for them and allow them to grow.
This camp is a chance to come together — not just to teach the game we love, but to strengthen our community, support kids in need, and show young athletes what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Our amazing coaching staff are volunteers that are participating to help drive a change in our community.
We will be offering elite and exclusive instruction to each position group. We will also be sharing experiences and stories of accomplishment, entrepreneurship, hard work and the life changing principles that can be learned through the sport of football. Central Michagan, Florida, Colorado State, Alabama
JIM McELWAIN
Coach Jim McElwain has built a legacy across college football with a résumé that speaks for itself: former head coach at Central Michigan, Florida and Colorado State, SEC Coach of the Year (2015), and offensive mastermind behind Alabama’s 2009 national title run. Coach Mac continues to shape young men and give back to the sport of football. #CoachMac #FootballMind #Leadership
Dickinson State, Carroll College
RUSSELL McCARVEL
Russell McCarvel enters 2025 as Dickinson State’s Offensive Coordinator for his 6th season, leading the conference’s top offense for five straight years, highlighted by a school-record 39.4 points per game in 2021. The Blue Hawks have achieved consecutive 10-win seasons, and he was named NSAA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2022.
With 39 years of coaching experience, McCarvel was part of Carroll College’s 2005 national championship team and has held head coaching and coordinator roles across Montana, including at Flathead High School. He holds degrees from Montana State and Lesley University.

GREG PEACH
From dominating on the field to developing talent on the sidelines — Coach Greg Peach brings passion and experience to the game. A former CFL Star and Buck Buchanan Award winner at Eastern Washington, Peach played pro ball with the Edmonton Eskimos, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. TYLER WHITTIER
Tyler Whittier grew up in rural Colorado and played defensive line at Colorado State University. After his playing career, Tyler worked as a strength and conditioning coach for football and baseball teams at the collegiate and professional levels including Auburn University, Brigham Young University and the St. Louis Cardinals. Tyler now works as an assistant professor of motor performance and learning at Montana State University where he performs research on the neuroscience of motor learning and skill acquisition.
